Most homeowners don’t spend much time thinking about their rain gutter system until it’s time for them to be cleaned or repaired. Rain gutters have been used since antiquity to protect roofs and buildings by directing water away from them. Without rain gutters, all of the water that flows onto a home would flow over its walls, causing foundation damage and seeping into its interior.
